2019 ‘Cab/Cab’ Cofermented Blend
LOS CHACAYES - UCO VALLEY
Only six barrels were produced from single acre blocks 13 and 22 of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It showcases a profile of Cabernet that marries the power and fruit intensity of high elevation Cabernet Sauvignon with the high toned aromas and elegance of Cabernet Franc. Small batches of hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are alternately layered and co-fermented to develop a seamless integration of tannin and complex fruit expression.
Barrel-aged for 18 months
2nd and neutral French Oak

2019 'Magma' Bordeaux Blend

‘Magma’ is our most complex wine, combining the finesse of Merlot, the power of Cabernet Sauvignon, the elegance of Cabernet Franc and the freshness and complexity of Malbec. Together, they make a beautiful blend for those with traditional palettes who like wines with deep and intense colors, complex and concentrated aromas, that are intense and long in the mouth.

2019 Cabernet Franc

Inspired by the great terroirs of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, in 2008, we planted a single acre of Cabernet Franc within ‘block 13 at 3,400’ elevation along the sandiest section of our 17-acre estate. Our high elevation vineyard’s expressive nature, together with the elegant texture derived from sandy/rocky soil profiles, results in a Cabernet Franc that displays the power and structure of a warm climate region alongside vibrant, high-toned red fruit that is more typical in cooler wine regions such as the Loire Valley.

2021 'Block 13' Grenache
LOS CHACAYES - UCO VALLEY
The rocky and sandy loam soils result in naturally lower yields, compounded withintense UV radiation and extreme temperature swings that create an expression of Grenache unlike anywhere in the world.
Classic red fruit intensity elevated by complex floral and desert-herb aromas, unique to the Los Chacayes I.G. This 100% single-vineyard high-elevation Grenache represents a new era of boutique wines from this exciting subzone within the Uco Valley.
