About Us
Corazón Del Sol was established in 2008 and has been at the forefront of innovation in Argentina, pioneering some of the very first Grenache, and Mourvèdre plantings, and helping to pave the way for the Los Chacayes region. We believe that our wines start in the vineyard, and our low intervention winemaking approach ensures our single vineyard bottleings and blends capture a true sense of time and place.
Our Story
After success in both Napa Valley (Revana Family Vineyard) and the Willamette Valley (Alexana Vineyards and Winery), Dr. Madaiah Revana sought out to extend his portfolio of terroir driven, vineyard specific wines to the southern hemisphere. After visiting the Uco Valley in 2008, he discovered untapped potential for world class wines. With surgical precision, and a quality driven philosophy, he continues to produce inspiring wines from inspiring landscapes.
Our Vineyards
Situated at 3,100 feet above sea level, our 17 acres of estate vineyards are situated at the base of the Andes mountains, the second largest mountain range in the world. The ancient river bed consists of incredibly deep and well drained alluvial soils that are made up of rock and sand which has eroded from the mountains over millions of years. These unique soil types are a perfect setting for wines of great complexity, power, and finesse.

Winemaking
Dr. Revana is known for working with some of the world's best winemakers and vineyard managers, and that continues with famed winemaker Santiago Achaval. Santiago utilizes a minimalistic approach to winemaking. That along with a vineyard specific mentality, allows us to craft small-lot, world class wines that are both thought provoking and reflective of the beautiful landscape from which they are born.
