2023 ‘Block 13’ Estate Grenache
LOS CHACAYES – UCO VALLEY
In 2008, we planted a single acre of Grenache at 3,800’ elevation on the rock-covered western edge of the Uco Valley, a unique area that would later become the Los Chacayes I.G.
The rocky and sandy loam soils result in naturally lower yields, compounded by intense UV radiation and extreme temperature swings that create an expression of Grenache unlike anywhere in the world.
Classic red fruit intensity elevated by complex floral and desert-herb aromas, unique to the Los Chacayes I.G. This 100% single-vineyard, high-elevation Grenache represents a new era of boutique wines from this exciting subzone within the Uco Valley.

2023 ‘Luminoso’ Estate GSM
LOS CHACAYES – UCO VALLEY
This complex blend pays homage to the beloved wines of the Rhône Valley in the south of France. It is beautifully structured, and evolves wonderfully in the bottle. The complexity begins with the three main varieties: Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvèdre from our Los Chacayes estate at 3800’ in elevation.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in neutral barrels and then rests for a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. This vintage expresses cherry, red meat and spices on the nose and holds a spicy, smooth freshness on the palate.

70% Grenache, 18 % Syrah, 12 % Mourvèdre

2023 ‘Block 22’ Estate Syrah
LOS CHACAYES – UCO VALLEY
In 2009 we planted our second acre of Syrah with cuttings from the world’s most famous Syrah vineyards in the Hermitage region of France’s Rhône Valley. 2023 ‘Gran Reserva’ Estate Malbec
LOS CHACAYES – UCO VALLEY
Malbec is the common thread between our vineyard sites. The Gran Reserva arises from the selection of the best barrels of Malbec from each vineyard site. With this blend of top barrels from each vintage, we create a very complex wine with great depth that maintains the elegance we strive for in all our wines. New and second-use barrels of two sizes, 225 and 160 liters, tame the tannins that come from the concentration of the clusters in the vineyard – the result of leaving a single cluster per shoot. Aging 18 to 24 months in barrel gives the last touch of finesse to this super premium Malbec.
